STORMPROOF AND FLUSH FITTING WINDOWS. Windows individually manufactured or batch run as required. Our stormproof windows can accommodate a 24mm double glazed unit and come with friction hinges, locking handles and weatherseals. Flush fitting windows where the sashes are flush to the front of the outer frames are normally manufactured with ovolo moulds internally to match original windows on site and can accommodate single or double glazing as necessary. CURVED AND ANGLED WORK We continue to produce curved headed door frames, doors, windows and screens. Sliding sash windows curved in plan view i.e. bow windows are also available. Angled headed frames to your design and requirements. SHOP FRONTS, COUNTERS ETC Shop fronts to copy original on site or to any design and timber section as specified. Counters and units manufactured from customers drawings using veneered MDF, solid timber or laminated as requested. ESTIMATES ARE FREE HOWEVER SITE SURVEYS ARE SUBJECT TO A CHARGE WHICH IS REFUNDABLE IF THE CONTRACT IS RECEIVED WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF ESTIMATE DATE. COMPANY HISTORY Robert Laverack (Managing Director) set up a joinery manufacturing business as a sole proprietor in July 1984 with a few basic machines in premises at Layerthorpe, York. Laverack Joinery Ltd now occupy larger premises at Birch Park off Huntington Road, York with extensive woodworking machinery and a total of 15 staff. The company is committed to investing in staff training and development. We continue to sponsor apprentices at college therefore ensuring bench joinery skills for the future. We are members of Master Builders and the Institute of Carpenters. |
